Woodrow Addison Inman of Ironton, MO passed away March 8, 2014 at his residence at the age of 97 years. He was born November 9, 1916 in Ironton, MO the son of Enoch and Elzada (Barton) Inman. On June 8, 1937 he was united in marriage to Myrtle Evelyn Mayberry who preceded him in death on March 14, 1995. To this union ten children were born; Jerry Inman and wife Carol of Ironton, MO, Melba Stirts and husband Bud of Pilot Knob, MO, Lucille Hughes and husband Jerry of Pilot Knob, MO, Jake Inman and wife Brenda of Ironton, MO, Kelly Inman and wife Nancy of Ironton, MO, Bradley Inman and wife Donna of Ironton, MO, and Timothy Inman and wife Lisa of Ironton, MO. He was preceded in death by three sons; Harold Elwood Inman, Robert Inman and Carl Inman. In addition to his children, Woodrow is survived by forty grandchildren, sixty-nine great grandchildren and nineteen great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Woodrow was also preceded in death by four brothers; Jim, Enoch, Gilbert and Delbert Inman and his sister, Essie Williams. Woodrow served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He worked in the logging business for Egyptian Tie and Timber Co. He later worked for Brown Shoe Company putting in twenty-five years before he retired. Woodrow enjoyed hunting and gardening.
