Earl Wayne Holbert

January 10, 1956 - August 12, 2014

Earl Wayne Holbert, known to most as Wayne, passed away August 12, 2014 at his residence in Caledonia at the age of 58 years. He was born January 10, 1956 in Ironton, MO the son of Earl and Blanche (Spangler) Holbert. Thirty-nine years ago he married his wife, Sandra Sue Hardin. She survives and resides in Caledonia. Wayne is also survived by his daughter, Julie Kozemski and her husband Mike of Illinois, his stepchildren; Steve and Carla Akers of Belleview, MO, Lisa Lord of Oklahoma, Timmy Akers and wife Myra of MO, Tammy McAnally and husband David of Springfield, MO, Tonya Ashbridge and husband Leroy of Belgrade, MO, and Jeremy Potter and wife Tara of Belleview, MO. Wayne is also survived by his brothers; Robert and wife Rhonda Holbert of Ironton, MO, Roger and wife Elaine Holbert of Pilot Knob, MO, and Larry and wife Pam Holbert of Belleview, MO, his sisters; Glenda and husband Bill King of Belleview, MO, Colleen and husband Arlan Nichols of Belleview, MO, twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Blanche Holbert, two sisters; Brenda Richardson and Linda Lou Holbert Helms, a brother; Richard T. Holbert, a stepdaughter, Sue Christine Akers, a grandson and a great granddaughter. Wayne was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Belleview, MO.
