Doris Jean DeHater

March 7, 1962 - December 29, 2018

Doris Jean (Miller) DeHater, fifty-six, of Black, Missouri passed away and entered her eternal life December 28, 2018. She was born March 7, 1962 in Farmington, Missouri to James Albert Miller Jr. and Melba Ruth (Radford) Miller. She was a devoted loving wife, loving mother, grandmother and long-time member of Pentecostal Church in Centerville, Missouri. She loved her family, her friends, and her dogs dearly. Doris was retired from Belleview Valley Nursing Home, she loved the outdoors, riding her 4-wheeler and boating, going to the lake with her husband and her favorite hobby was crocheting gifts for her family members. She loved her two talking Amazon Parrots and spending time with her family. Doris had a strong faith in her Lord Jesus Christ and she loved Christian music. She will always be remembered for her caring and giving nature and giving happiness to others whenever possible. Doris is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ralph DeHater, three sons; Larry Boyer of Farmington, Missouri, Jason Boyer of Fredericktown, Missouri, Rodney Boyer of Pilot Knob, Missouri, one daughter; Sarah King of Iron Mountain, Missouri, her brother; James Miller of Doe Run, Missouri, four sisters; Carol Sue Miller of Doe Run, Missouri, Donna (Franklin) Burks of Brighton, Tennessee, Ruth (Roland) Green of Ironton, Missouri, and her best friend and sister, Sandra (Michael) McKelvey of Piedmont, Missouri. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, one great granddaughter, numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, James Albert Miller and Melba Ruth (Radford) Miller, her sister; Lora Jean Porter and two brothers; Michael Joseph Miller and Roy Dale Miller Sr.
