Clinton Orville Jenkins

Clinton Orville Jenkins of Middle Brook, Missouri passed away February 19, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital at the age of 79 years. He was born July 28, 1942 in Gobler, Missouri, the son of the late Orville Lee and Lula Ethel (Lipsey) Jenkins. Clinton is survived by his two children: John Jenkins and wife, Miranda of Belleview, Missouri, and Kathleen Jenkins Caldwell of Chicago, Illinois. Also surviving are his two sisters: Velva Jewells of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Billie Sue Parker of Malden, Missouri, and his brother, Richard Jenkins of Paragould, Arkansas. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, Clinton was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Francis Jenkins on June 16, 2012, his son-in-law, Greg Caldwell, and his brother, Fred “Butch” Jenkins. Clinton served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. After serving his country he worked as a Quality Control Inspector for National Vendors. He also worked at Iron Country Soil and Water. Clinton was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the V.F.W. He enjoyed all types of farm work. He liked working in the hay and working on farm equipment. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Nash officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment with full military honors will be held at a later date in Jefferson Barracks.
