Barbara Ann (Bryant) Ford passed away in her home in Annapolis, Missouri on August 4, 2016 at the age of 70 years 11 months and 26 days. She was born on August 9, 1945 in Lesterville, Missouri, daughter to the late Wallace and Beulah (Adams) Bryant. On August 20, 1965 she was united in marriage to Floyd Ford who survives. To this union one daughter was born: Lucy Ann Alcorn and husband Mike of Annapolis, Missouri. Barb is also survived by her brother Lyle Bryant of Pilot Knob, Missouri, grandsons David Alcorn of Saint Louis, Missouri and Chad Alcorn of Kirksville, Missouri, her mother-in-law Leota Ford of Annapolis, Missouri, sister-in-law Linda Kemp of Annapolis, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many many friends. Barb is preceded in death by her parents Wallace and Beulah Bryant, a brother Arthur Bryant and a sister Irene Standley. Barb was a member of the Free Spirit General Baptist Church. She worked for 47 years in banking at Annapolis through three bank changes, finally retiring from Great Southern Bank. She was very active in and Treasurer of the South Iron Community Betterment Association where she spent countless hours working to better the Annapolis area. As a talented quilter, she was also a member of the Crazy Quilters Club.
